wonder what the daily cost projection is for max consumption

i mean it seems a bit over the top as a german guy but the power system isn't that reliable in the states compared to germany. And most of AC failures will occur in the winter season where an empty battery and a frozen genset is not a 'will never happen' scenario. The only figure which is of interest for me, how many KWh in total (electricity + heating + gas) will this house consume in one year...:D

Would recommend digital temperature control for the shower. Simply control hot / cold mix electronically with (redundant) temperature sensors just before the drain valve. Leave drain valve open until target temperature is reached then close drain valve. Obviously use a Schmitt trigger. Each person has their own preference when it comes to temperature, especially on a really hot day. Would have recommended drain pipe to be same diameter as the supply line.

I’m surprised you didn’t heat the countertop. Everything else will be warm except for the surface of the tops. Is that particle board under the tops? If so, why not use a marine grade plywood?! Why cut corners by using particle board exposed outdoors?

Using the hot water loop as a heating system, returns that principal to its original purpose. Nice. I don't dare to ask what your carbon footprint looks like. You might want to use it as a mold for a boat. The best part of these videos is still watching you enjoying building things. Back to work !

You should have used marine grade plywood for the exterior cabinet countertop and not particle board. Any humidity gets into that material, and it will turn to oatmeal and fall apart.
